He is currently a member of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr Eta attended University of Alabama School of Public Health where he obtained his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and worked as a Doctor of Internal Medicine at Northwest Hospital in Maryland for many years. Given his desire to specialize in kidney disease and the personal experience of losing his beloved uncle who was on Hemodialysis to kidney disease related complications; Dr Eta relocated to Alabama where he completed his Nephrology fellowship at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. During his Nephrology fellowship training, he had the special recognition to serve as the Chief Fellow in his UAB graduating class. Dr Eta is a devoted husband and Dad of three children who keep him busy outside of his work as a Kidney disease and Hypertension Specialist. He is a Christian who loves to play and coach Soccer.
